Pricing and Policy Information

Studio Fees:

Fees are based on the total number of lessons offered each semester, not on the specific number of lessons each month (see below, or on the schedule tab). This reserves your spot in the lesson schedule and covers the cost of materials I provide such a lesson binder and any extra sheet music.

25 Minute Lessons - $440/semester (can be divided into 4 payments of $110)

Best for beginners and busy schedules. This time period will allow for a quick review of previous material, a brief overview of new material, and simple activities or games to build foundational theory knowledge as time allows.

40 Minute Lessons - $640/semester (can be divided into 4 payments of $160)

Best for late elementary to intermediate level learners. This time period will allow for a more comprehensive course of study. Students will begin to build a broader base of skills and techniques need for their instrument, work on more advanced repertoire, and connect basic associated musical theory concepts.

55 Minute Lessons - $880/semester (can be divided into 4 payments of $220)

Best for advanced players. This time period will allow for detailed work on technique and skills, an in depth practice of advanced repertoire, and a comprehensive study of related music theory topics.

- Monthly payments are due by the 7th of each month. -

A $15 late fee will be assessed for any payments received after that date.

Any accounts that are late 2 months in a row will be required to pay the remainder of the semester in full.

Lessons:

Each lesson will consist of studying music literature, technique, and music theory from the assigned lesson book. Assignments will be sent home in a student binder each week. Each student is encouraged to practice at least 3 times each week for at least 15-20 minutes, in addition to lesson day.

- Practice is expected to be initiated and encouraged by the parents. –

Missed Lessons:

- There are no guaranteed make-up lessons or reimbursements for missed or cancelled lessons.

- Missing lessons does not change the total studio fee due each month.

- I will happily provide an online option for sick students so we do not have to miss a lesson.

- Flex week lessons are available only on an as needed basis, with prior communication between parent and teacher.

Only ONE flex reschedule per student per semester

Discontinuation of Lessons:

There will be no refunds of lesson fees if you do choose to end your lesson contract. Students who choose to end lessons before the end of the semester will be expected to pay out any remaining tuition unless there is a minimum 3 week notification prior to discontinuation to allow me to fill that space in my schedule. You will also not be guaranteed your previous lesson time if you choose to restart lessons with me at any point.
